If you haven't noticed, prints and patterns are having a moment.
It's a moment that, I must admit, I'm very happy about.  And in this moment, it's quite fitting that Marni is launching a line with H&M.  Yes, ladies and gentlemen, just a month after we snagged a piece of Jason Wu for our closets, it's time to make room for the next big name.

For friends who aren't familiar with this Milan-based brand, it all started in 1994 when Consuelo Castiglioni created a ready-to-wear line for customers looking for the right clothing to wear under fur bought from her husband's family fur business.  She named her fashion line after her sister, Marni, and has since been known for it's "European-inflected bohemianism", exclusive prints, and daring use of color.

Patterns, prints and the mix of both made their way down many (if not all) runways during New York Fashion Week.  If you're lucky enough to get your hands on a piece from this Marni for H&M collection, you'll be able to rock this trend with ease.  In fact, the pieces Castiglioni designed for this Spring collection incorporate other big trends along side the bold and beautiful prints Marni is famous for: color blocking, bright neon colors, statement collars, stripes and floral.  Take a look at the collection and tell me what makes your wish list!  Who knows, I might just be standing right next to you in line the morning of the launch: March 8.  Until then, dress to express yourself :)
