If you haven't noticed, prints and patterns are having a moment.
It's a moment that, I must admit, I'm very happy about.  And in this moment, it's quite fitting that Marni is launching a line with H&M.  Yes, ladies and gentlemen, just a month after we snagged a piece of Jason Wu for our closets, it's time to make room for the next big name.

For friends who aren't familiar with this Milan-based brand, it all started in 1994 when Consuelo Castiglioni created a ready-to-wear line for customers looking for the right clothing to wear under fur bought from her husband's family fur business.  She named her fashion line after her sister, Marni, and has since been known for it's "European-inflected bohemianism", exclusive prints, and daring use of color.

Patterns, prints and the mix of both made their way down many (if not all) runways during New York Fashion Week.  If you're lucky enough to get your hands on a piece from this Marni for H&M collection, you'll be able to rock this trend with ease.  In fact, the pieces Castiglioni designed for this Spring collection incorporate other big trends along side the bold and beautiful prints Marni is famous for: color blocking, bright neon colors, statement collars, stripes and floral.  Take a look at the collection and tell me what makes your wish list!  Who knows, I might just be standing right next to you in line the morning of the launch: March 8.  Until then, dress to express yourself :)

Have you heard? H&M is working on another fabulous collaboration and this time it's with the legendary House of Versace! This is exciting news! Most exciting for people who love high-end fashion labels but simply can’t afford to dish out the high-end designer prices.

People we know already love H&M for their affordable style but now we can love them even more for doing collaborations with high-end designers year after year.

Thank you H&M for always having our backs!

House of Versace is a royal family Italian Fashion house that has been around since the late 70’s early 80’s.  Versace’s style is truly unique and consists of structured pieces using bold prints and mixing exquisite materials such as gold studs, silk, and leather.

Mark your calendars people! The collection will be sold in stores on November 17, 2011. The collection consists of 40 pieces for women, 20 pieces for men, as well as accessories, and home goods. Versace has also announced that they will be working with H&M for a Pre-Spring collection that will be released January 19, 2012.

H&M is constantly thinking about the consumer and how to bring in high profile designers to take their Fashions to the next level. Past collaborations with H&M include: Sonia Rykiel, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garcons, Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo, and most recently Lanvin.

Check out Donatella Versace's interview and how she's thrilled about the collaboration.
We’re excited about the upcoming collections and may be camping out like previous years in the cold wet weather!

Brrrrr! It feels like Winter. The weather has been quite chilly in the Bay and everyone is patiently waiting for the sun to come out. Soon enough everyone will be packing up their cars and will be headed to the beach.

Have you checked out H&M's Summer collection? I must say, It's pretty affordable! There are tons of Summer picks starting at $4.95. You can dress the entire family for Summer without breaking the bank. Lots of coveralls, shorts for the whole family, bathing suits, tops, and flip flops. You name it- H&M has it.

Take a look at what's in store.

I'm going to go out and buy some coveralls for the beach! What do you plan on buying for yourself and for the fam?

Spring is here.  The grass is greener, the sun is bright, and winter coats are a thing of the past.  However, the beauty of Spring won't last forever, which is why its a must to be conscious of making green-decisions.  For instance, bring reusable bags to the grocery store rather than bringing more plastic bags home.  This planet needs our help, and every little change counts.  And we love when fashion retailers take action.

Fast-fashion giant, H&M, will release their Conscious Collection this Thursday, April 14, which features pieces made of recycled polyester and organic cotton.  All pieces of this collection are white or off-white which is right on trend for Spring.  We all love looking good without breaking the bank, and now we get to look good on a budget AND be green.  Winning!

Here are my top 3 picks from this collection:
Spaghetti-strap organic cotton top with ruffle details, a lovely alternative to your average tank-top.
3/4 sleeve recycled polyester dress with lace-like sleeves with a flowy feel, which makes for a refreshing break from your brights.
Organic cotton short-sleeve crop top with laser cut outs and a scallop bottom, a much needed upgrade to a plain white tee.

What do you think of the collection?  Let me know.
